Motel Games
We last left Sonny, Keith, and the SWAT squad waiting for tear gas to clear out of a roach motel room. When it finally does the two detectives head in:
Sonny takes a look around the room:
There are a lot of times in this game when the game just isn’t that helpful…
Sonny enters the bathroom, the one you can’t see and don’t know is actually here unless you guess, and looks around:
Sonny looks closer at the sink (and shower, toilet, shower, etc…):
Finished with the bathroom, Sonny doesn’t flush, he heads back to look over the room again:
Sonny compares this envelope with the scrap of paper he found in the trunk with the dead guy earlier today:
What a detective! Sonny reads the letter he just found (no the game doesn’t tell you what it said)
Keith comes back in:
Sonny continues looking around the room until he finally sees some lipstick under the bed:
?!?
Confession: I don’t remember how you’re supposed to find the lipstick in this room. I tried a number of commands but never stumbled on to it. I already knew the lipstick was there and just went over to it and typed ‘get lipstick.’ Are you surprised that Sierra put an invisible, hard to locate item in their game? Me neither.
Before leaving Sonny collects a blood sample and then he and Keith hop in the car and head toward Marie’s house!
Sonny takes a look around:
No, I don’t know why the writer of this game thought anyone would care about who won Super Bowl XII… Sonny and Keith move in:

Something just isn’t right about that note… Sonny takes a look at the thank you card he also carries from Marie:
Sonny compares the two notes:

Sonny wisely decides to use the key hidden above the door instead of kicking it in:
Maybe she’s just a slob?
Looking more closely at the ground:
“look ashtray”
“get paper”
Wherein Sonny Bonds reveals he is a a great dame of the South:
He then fainted…

Sonny looked for any other clues but there was nothing else at Marie’s place. They go back to the car and infrom HQ:
Sonny and Keith head back to the station, where Sonny follows up on some leads:
Sony first calls Colby using the number on the card:
I Don’t think Witness Protection is as Effective as it could be…
What about that is hard to believe?! I’m a police officer trying to hunt him down and I just called to tell you he escaped! He had YOUR name on a hitlist?! He had your fucking business card you idiot! Why did you go into witness protection and continue to use your same fucking name?!
Unbelievable! These people deserve to die… Sonny follows through with the Steelton Police:
I suppose that is the bare minimum they could do… Sonny bangs his head against his desk for awhile. Maybe when he’s done we can continue?
